Cottons, Cashews, and More

Just a bunch of unrelated items that were too good to pass over.

Along the road:

This brightly painted mansion was directly across the road from the weaving cooperative.
Same road -- our bus. I'm glad I don't have to maneuver this "cruise ship" down these narrow roads!
Thirumayan Fort was built atop a granite outcrop.

Cotton and silk sarees:

Weaver at the loom at the Sri Mahalakshmi Handloom Cotton Weaving Center in Kanadukathan.

The finished products for sale in the shop.
Cashews

Cashew processing along the road near Adanakkottai.

Dance

Classical Indian dance performance before dinner at our hotel.
And that wraps it up on a very busy day!
