Lon has to be productive (i.e. work), but I get to sightsee. Today I got to see some of the major sights (and sites) in Old Delhi, and a few quick sights of New Delhi (while my driver was illegally parked).
This is the first time we've been to a part of India that (1) has Hindi as the local language, and (2) has any significant number of foreign tourists. Far fewer women are wearing traditional Indian clothes -- I had on a kurta, while my tour guide wore jeans.
Jama Masjid
This is the largest mosque in India, and one that allows women to enter (except not for prayers).

The interior courtyard, facing west toward Mecca. The wide-angle lens makes it look like the minarets are leaning in, but if I changed the perspective via Photoshop, other things got distorted. |
 |
Women may enter the mosque, but they must have arms and legs covered. Colorful robes are provided for women that aren't suitable attired. |
Old Delhi Streets
Are narrow ...
... and narrower.
Red Fort
The Red Fort was built in the 1600s and is slowly being restored. It was in active use as a military reservation until just a few years ago.

The main gate to the fort as seen from the street outside. |
 |
The Diwan-i-Am pavilion where the king would hold public audiences. |
 |
A garden and the back side of the entrance gate. |
