Vapi Diversion

I'll take time out from Ladakh to post a few interesting sights from Vapi. Takis was on his first trip to India to visit the Vapi and Morai mills, so we spent some time taking him on a town tour. He probably saw more than he wanted to of Vapi!

Ganesh Chaturthi (the start of Ganesha's big festival -- especially in Maharashtra) is Thursday, so there are lots of Ganesha idols ready for purchase around town.
A Hindu party bus ready for any occasion.
Baby hammocks can be improvised anywhere. This one was under a stand selling Ganesha idols.
"Is this Art?" I think so.
Near the train station. The sign literally reads "No Parking" in a Gujarati transliteration of English.  The second line reads "Sideebus Parking" (City Bus Parking?)
I'll finish with two animal pictures.

Cow and very young calf.
Pigs wallowing in muddy run-off.
