Today at Morai

Today's post comes courtesy of Lon. That's the title of his email with this photo.

That's a python found in the waste paper area at the Morai mill. Pythons are large, but of no huge concern. This one is "only" 7 feet long. Vipers and cobras are far more dangerous -- and they are around here. Makes copperheads and rattlesnakes seem rather tame!

  1. Wow! This guy looks pretty placid.... I've been told that pythons' even dispositions are the reason for their popularity as pets. Of course maybe he's just cold. Have you seen any cobras or vipers yet?

  2. Cold? No way! It NEVER gets "cold" in this part of India! Fortunately, we have not seen any cobras or vipers. Those would scare me!
