There's nothing quite like a bone-rattling cycle-rickshaw ride through the narrow, bumpy streets of Old Delhi.
Welcome to the narrow lanes of Old Delhi. At times you can barely walk through the alleys, much less navigate them in a rickshaw or a two-wheeler. Even goods have to be delivered to the shops with people-power -- mostly hand-carts, occasionally cycle-rickshaws. |
Looking at this maze of wires, is it any surprise that electric power is extremely unstable in India? |
Like the bullocks in Agra (previous post), these goats are painted with henna. "786" is an auspicious number to Muslims -- especially in South Asia. |
I don't know if this goat has had white spots painted with henna, or is this color naturally. |

In India, auto repair rarely takes place inside a shop. |
There's no limit to what can be hauled on a hand-cart or cycle-rickshaw.

Need a ladder? We've got your size. |

Since John and Mandi had to return to Frankfurt tonight, I'll let them close this post. |
