Near the main gate for contemporary entry to the fort (Urwahl Gate), 21 Jain sculptures are caved into the rock wall in shallow “caves”.

The figures are so tall that it’s difficult to get a good photo. Also challenging was the “high dynamic range” of the scene, with the front portico in direct sunlight and the figures in deep shade. |
