On the last official day of the trip, we spent the morning at Lake Manyara National Park, visited a Maasai village, and headed back to Arusha. Lon and I had to stay an extra night in Arusha because our flight to Addis Ababa left too early -- but that gave us an opportunity to visit Arusha National Park, which we missed on the first day. After a brief stop at our hotel in Arusha for refreshing and repacking, the rest of the group headed onwards to the Kilimanjaro airport.
