Shore Temple

We awoke this morning to rain pounding at our window. This is not supposed to be a rainy season, but the morning was filled with drenching downpours -- a true mini-monsoon. Our itinerary called for us to be outside most of the day. Hmmm….

By the time we returned to our bus, we were thoroughly soaked from wading through 6-inch deep puddles and the blowing rain. Fortunately, it was not cold, but it was uncomfortable to be so wet.

We returned to the Shore Temple at the end of the day to finally get a good look at it.

The Shore Temple is relatively small and compact.

Getting around the temple involves walking through narrow passages.
