Trains between Ollantaytambo and Machu Picchu run frequently. A few also go all the way to Cusco. We had first-class seats on the Inka Rail line.for the roughly two hour trip.

| There are foot trails that go to Machu Picchu, including the famous Inca Trail (an arduous four-day trek from Ollantaytambo). The train hugs the river. |
