It's not in my guide books, but the main market in Cusco must be quite a sight. The market is open-air, but covered, and has aisles for everything you might need. In addition to the photos below, there was a food court and an aisle devoted to chocolate. And much more.

As you might expect in Peru, the produce aisle has a lot of potatoes. |
A flower section is also fairly common in large markets. |
Lon found the "Menudencias" aisle the most fascinating. An online dictionary translated this as "offal" or "giblets". I loved the translation on the sign, "innards". |
From the photo it looks like the aisle is mostly meats and animal products. |
But there were some fairly grisly items as well. |
