Today we had a 6-hour city tour of Lima. One of the highlights was the Museo Larco. The museum is based on a collection of pre-Incan artifacts made by the "sugar baron", Rafael Larco Hoyle. Larco is considered the father of Peruvian archaeology.

Unlike most museums, the storage rooms for not-on-exhibit pieces is open for the public to wander through and view. |
