Our next stop was the beautiful Temple of Heaven.

| The Temple of Heaven resembles a large Buddhist stupa, although it is not a Buddhist temple. It is here that the emperor would pray for good harvests, so it is more accurately called the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests". |

| The Temple is a stunning combination of a red base and blue roofs. |

| The inside is also elaborately painted, although you can only glimpse the interior through the windows. |
